Available for your consideration is this Early pattern glass pickle jar and silverplated lid, probably originally used in conjunction with a silverplated pickle castor holder. This jar is EAPG long buttress pattern, possibly made by Fostoria Glass. The jar measures about 5″ tall with the lid in place and has a base that measures about 3 7/8″ in diameter. The glass shows no chips, nicks, or cracks and the lid shows heavy tarnish and general signs of use wear.
