The KM1 system radio is supplied as a set with a radio hand controller and a base station. With the system radio handheld controller, all address and control information is shown on the display. The speed is controlled by the rotary control with detent torque, which has also proven itself in our SC 7 and SC 4. Pressing the speed controller changes the direction of travel of the selected model.
20 special locomotive functions can be switched directly via the numeric keypad, all others via the special locomotive functions menu. The radio system can be permanently connected to the LocoNet or disconnected again at any time without losing the current running status of the locomotives from radio operation. So you can use this handheld controller not only wirelessly, but also wired with Allen comfort functions!
As soon as you have connected the system radio to the LocoNet cable, the battery is also automatically recharged. The set is suitable for operation on Allen control centers with a LocoNet connection and thus not only for our SC 7 and SC 4. The range is up to 100 in an open field
