MARKLIN LOT GAUGE/SPUR 1:  TUNNEL, REVOLVING CRANE, and 3 PIECES OF TRACK (#16)
1) MARKLIN TUNNEL – Difficult to date but I believe to be before/around 1920.  This tin tunnel is approximately 21cm tall and 32 cm long. It is over 100 years old and came with 1 gauge/spur wagons and track that i have through family, but is most likely a tunnel used primarily for 0 gauge wagons. Made in Germany (and Markllin logo) on the underside of tunnel on edge. I think for passenger wagons that are gauge 1 to go through this tunnel, the tunnel needs to be elevated at least an inch or so, so that the roof clears the tunnel.
You can see by photos that there are some cosmetic issues. Paint peeling or chipping on some places. Especially on teeth around entrance. Overall, this beautiful antik is in excellent condition for its age. Wonderful that it still has miniature bench, house, fence, etc, attached to the outside.
2) MARKLIN CRANE – 24cm tall
After looking at some old catalogues of Marklin products, this revolving crane (mauersockelkran) is most likely model #2583.
For 1 Gauge/Spur track.
If you turn the crank on the side, the circular section where the little house and crane are, it does rotate, but barely and obviously needs some repair to function at 100%. The original string is in the house, but broken, and the chain and ball are not included in this listing. There is very little chipped paint or cosmetic issues. The door can be opened, closed and latched shut.
Overall this crane looks absolutely fantastic for 100 years old.
3) 3 Pieces of MARKLIN track gauge/spur 1 #16 (These #16’s are slightly curved and 3 rail)
Everything is original.  This family item has had no repair/touchup for at least the last 70 years.
I am combining these rare items to save a Marklin collector some money on shipping. Anyone with 1 gauge vintage Marklin would love these for sure.
