Very good condition original WWII German 98k Mauser bayonet
that is complete with matching numbered scabbard. Bayonet and scabbard are both
maker marked “Coppel G.m.b.H.” Blade has nice original blue showing very little
wear and was never sharpened. Remaining metal finish is original blue showing
some normal wear. Bakelite grips have a good tight fit and show some normal
handling marks, lock button functions fine. Matching numbered steel scabbard
has original blue finish showing some wear to brown patina and one or two small
dings. Also complete with correct original leather frog that is maker marked
and dated 1937. Leather is soft and supple with some normal wear, stitching and
rivets are tight. Complete with handle straps. A nice 98k Mauser bayonet rig
with matching numbers.,
